The sick, the bereaved and the health workers in the DRC's Ebola outbreak, now past 10,000 cases

Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo has now infected more than 10,000 people and killed almost 4,900 since May, across eight provinces. More than 2,700 of those infected are children. This strain has no vaccine, and cases have now reached Kenya and Nigeria. Last week a nurse was killed and another health worker badly hurt while answering an Ebola alert in Tshopo province. Please pray for the sick and their families, for the children, for the family of the nurse who died, and for the doctors and nurses caring for patients.
