Tenerife striker Jesus de Miguel in intensive care after a head injury during a match in Spain

Jesus de Miguel, a striker for CD Tenerife, was knocked unconscious by a blow to the head late in his side's match against Andorra in Spain's second division on Sunday. The referee suspended the game while medics treated him on the pitch, with players from both teams in tears. Spanish media reported that he went into cardiorespiratory arrest. He is now in intensive care at the Nuestra Senora de Candelaria University Hospital, and the club says he is stable despite the seriousness of his condition. Please pray for Jesus as he recovers, for his family at his bedside, and for the doctors caring for him.
