Steve Ellis, lead singer of Love Affair, has died at 76

Steve Ellis, the singer who fronted Love Affair, has died at 76. A statement on his Facebook page said he died peacefully on the evening of October 30 after complications from a long illness, with his loved ones beside him. Born in Edgware in north-west London, he was sixteen when he sang on Everlasting Love, which reached number one in Britain in 1968. He later went solo and sang with Widowmaker. Please pray for his family and close friends as they grieve him.
