Peter Medak, film director, has died at 88

Peter Medak, the Hungarian-born director of The Changeling, The Krays and The Ruling Class, died on Tuesday in Los Angeles at the age of 88. Born in Budapest in 1937, he hid with his family during the Second World War and left for England after the 1956 revolution. He went on to make films and television over six decades, including episodes of The Wire and Breaking Bad. He leaves four children, Christopher, Joshua, Karen and Cornela, and five grandchildren. Pray for his children and grandchildren as they grieve him, and for everyone who worked beside him and is mourning him now.
