Milad Malak, 20, a Coptic deacon from Egypt, killed in Libya after refusing to renounce his faith

Milad Malak, a 20-year-old deacon at his Coptic church in Sebarbay, Egypt, went to Libya in September to find work. On October 4 he was kidnapped with other Egyptian workers in Zliten. His companions were freed after ransoms were paid, but Milad, the only Christian among them, was held, pressed to give up his faith, and killed when he would not. His body was returned to his family weeks later, and he was laid to rest on October 28. His sister Madonna and the family are grieving him, and the friends held with him are being treated in hospital in Egypt. Please pray for Milad's family, for his church in Sebarbay, and for his friends as they recover.
