Jack White and his family after the death of his brother Eddie Gillis

Edward "Eddie" Gillis, the older brother of musician Jack White, died on Saturday after a long fight with cancer. For ten years he ran Third Man Pressing, the Detroit vinyl plant Jack opened in 2017, overseeing hundreds of thousands of records and turning the leftover vinyl scraps into small flowers and sculptures. Before that he worked as a pastry chef in hotel and hospital kitchens. Jack called him a caring, funny and generous man everybody loved. Pray for Jack, for the rest of the Gillis family, and for the people at the plant who worked beside Eddie every day.
