Geoffrey Richmond, former Bradford City chairman, has died at 85

Geoffrey Richmond, former chairman of Bradford City, died on Friday at the age of 85. Born in Leeds, he became chairman in 1994 and led the club through its first Wembley appearance and its promotion to the Premier League in 1999, before resigning in 2002. Bradford City said its thoughts are with his family and friends, and supporters have been remembering him across the city. He leaves four children, three from his first marriage to Barbara and a son with his second wife, Elizabeth. Pray for comfort for Elizabeth, his children and all who loved him as they grieve.
