Donovan Marx, 50, critically injured in an attack at his farm near Potchefstroom, South Africa

Donovan Marx, a 50-year-old cattle farmer, was shot, stabbed and badly mutilated by two men who attacked him at his home near Potchefstroom, South Africa, on Wednesday, after tying up one of his workers. The worker freed himself and called for help. Mr Marx is in hospital in Potchefstroom in a critical but stable condition and has not yet been able to speak to his family. Pray for his healing and for his wife Louise and their family as they wait at his side, and for the worker who was also caught up in it.
